Explore our hydraulic elevators
For buildings with up to five floors, the cost-effectiveness of hydraulic elevators is virtually unbeatable.
Most common questions regarding machine room lifts
The machine room is a distinct room where all of the elevator powering equipment is situated. Machine rooms for traction lifts are usually placed on the rooftop, whereas machine rooms for hydraulic elevators are almost always located on the ground floor or in the basement. While machine rooms can be used in traction and hydraulic elevators, they are not always required.
Geared traction lifts are comprised of a gearbox attached to the AC or DC motor. The motor propels a wheel that rotates and moves the rope.
Counterweights are offsets that are a crucial part of a traction elevator. A counterweight is an added weight that gives balance to the elevator system and makes it easier for the motor to raise and lower the car.
1:1 describes an arrangement of suspension ropes in which the car speed and rope speed are equal. In 2:1, the car speed is one-half the rope speed.
Choosing the right door type is a crucial part of the planning process. While you may pay more attention to the type of elevator, the proper door type will have a crucial role in the performance of your elevator.
Today, elevator door types include automatic, manual, and telescopic.
Automatic doors can open from the left, or right side or have a center opening.
